A Calgary Airport Start I Will Never Forget

My journey to Premiere Orlando 2026 did not exactly start smoothly.

Just after being dropped off at the Calgary airport, one of the wheels on my luggage got completely stuck. Suddenly, my suitcase was no longer rollable, and I had to drag it through the airport.

Thankfully, it was not too heavy because I had intentionally left extra room for all the amazing products and goodies I planned to bring back from Premiere Orlando!

I was lucky to travel with my Fuzion colleague, Heather Schmick, who turned out to be the perfect travel buddy.

Why Hotel Landy Orlando Was the Perfect Choice

We stayed at Hotel Landy Orlando, and honestly, I highly recommend it to anyone planning to attend Premiere Orlando in the future.

The hotel shuttle ran every 15–20 minutes directly to the show, and because Hotel Landy was one of the first pickup locations, we always got seats on the bus.

As the shuttle continued to other hotels, it often became so full that some attendees could not even get on. We were very happy with our choice, especially because the ride to the convention center was only about 10 minutes.

Three Days of Intense Nail Education

Once inside Premiere Orlando, I was completely blown away.

The amount of education available over three days was incredible. There were classes covering everything from the newest nail techniques, pedicures, and nail art to social media, marketing, business growth, and hands-on workshops.

So Many Classes, So Much Inspiration

There was so much to learn that choosing which classes to attend was almost impossible. Every nail technician who wants to grow, learn, and feel inspired should experience Premiere Orlando at least once.

Nailympia North America's Star Nail Artist Highlight

One of the highlights was watching the North America’s Star Nail Artist results and celebrating Jessica Vero from Canada, who earned first place. What an incredible achievement!

Meeting Nail Industry Icons in Person

What made the experience even more special was meeting so many artists I have admired throughout my career. Seeing these industry icons in person felt surreal.

Kirsty Meakin

Meeting Kirsty Meakin from the UK was truly unforgettable. She was warm, welcoming, and exactly as inspiring in person as she is online. I have followed her work for years, so having the opportunity to chat with her and share a hug was a very special moment.

Hirsch Hunty – NailsByHirsch

I was also thrilled to meet Hirsch Hunty, known as NailsByHirsch, whose passion and creativity continue to inspire nail technicians around the world.

Dylan – The Nail Whisperer

Another highlight was meeting Dylan, better known as The Nail Whisperer. I have always enjoyed his humor, energy, and educational content, so meeting him in person was fantastic.

Hazel Dixon

I was excited to meet Hazel Dixon, whose incredible nail art has inspired me since the beginning of my nail journey. Being able to speak with her in person felt like a full-circle moment.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Soto, Giselle from EgoBeauty, Kathy “Top Nail Tech” from Kelowna, and many other talented professionals who make our industry such an amazing community.
